　ハマスが政権を担うことを拒否するのではなく、国際社会が関与していく必要がある。
　オバマ大統領は昨秋、イスラエルとパレスチナの間で１年以内の和平合意をめざすよう呼びかけた。今回のパレスチナの和解が追い風になってほしい。

If the Palestinian accord eventually produces an administration that accepts those principles, it will be a breakthrough. More likely ― and failing major changes in policy by Hamas ― this will prove to be yet another false start.
