D・H・ローレンスの詩に、ああ、タイトルとか忘れてしまったが、おセックスをしようよ蛇たちがそうするように、みたいなフレーズがあったが、蛇の交尾というのはどうなんでしょうね。

　で、ローレンスはオカルト的でもあった。日本ではあまり研究されていないように思うが。

As his philosophy develops, Lawrence moves away from more direct Christian analogies and instead touches upon Mysticism, Buddhism, and Pagan theologies. There could also be seen to be Rosicrucian and Esoteric aspects to much of his writing. In some respects, Lawrence was a forerunner of the growing interest in the occult that occured in the twentieth century, though he himself would have identified with being a Christian. He may have preferred the distinction of being a New Age pioneer, particularly in a time when such ideas were seen as extreme or radical.
